New York – ‘Understanding the race for impact’ breakfast event
Futurestep are hosting a breakfast event on 11th October in New York as part of a series of round table events to discuss the findings of the inaugural global talent impact study, “Understanding the race for impact”. The study was developed to generate discussion and debate around the themes of measuring and identifying indicators of talent with impact.
The report explores how organizations identify and quantify talent at a professional and managerial level and surveyed almost 1600 HR and recruitment professionals across a wide range of organizations from five continents.
Not surprisingly, the study revealed that recruits are under increasing pressure to make the greatest impact in their first year. Over an informal networking breakfast we will explore:
• How employer branding and talent communities can help engage talent with the skills to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact
• How continual career development can help employees deliver long-term value rather than their potential being overshadowed by short-term pressure to perform
• How both the US and China embrace performance measurement but China continues to be a difficult location for recruitment and retention – Tim Nelson will address the trends, challenges and opportunities of recruiting and implementing a global model in China
Register to attend for more information about the survey results and to discuss the findings.
