Sean Kent is Vice President, Global Technology for Futurestep, responsible for the company’s strategic development, acquisition and use of business technology solutions worldwide.

This role includes the application of talent management technology for internal and external service delivery, business intelligence, analytics, and reporting initiatives, as well as management of technology supplier relationships.

Additionally, Sean serves as the Futurestep liaison to Korn/Ferry’s global IT team, working closely to leverage and accelerate the full capabilities of the company’s global technology platforms across the organization.

Sean joined Futurestep as part of The Newman Group, which was acquired by Futurestep in 2007. As a consulting director, he led strategic talent management technology initiatives for a diverse portfolio of Fortune 500 clients. Prior to joining The Newman Group, Sean managed recruiting technology and operations nationally for DeVry Inc.

Elsewhere, he has previously held leadership roles in the executive search industry with national firms including Technisource, a Spherion Company.

Sean serves on the Board of Directors of Atlanta chapter of the International Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM), and he has presented at several industry conferences and professional association meetings for organizations including IHRIM and the Electronic Recruiting Exchange (ERE).

Sean holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Florida, and an MBA in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School.
