POSITION OVERVIEW

The Process Engineering Analyst applies engineering methods and techniques in the area of process systems analysis and design. Participates and coordinates studies of existing mail processing systems or network configuration to identify areas for improvement and to develop cost benefit proposals.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

University degree in Industrial Engineering. University degree in a related Engineering discipline.

Entry-level position

Knowledge:

- project management methods

- systems / process design

- understanding of Lean principles

- data analysis methods

- process mapping

- engineering economics

- database development (MS Access or similar software)

Skills:

- Customer engagement, project scoping / management, critical analysis, systems / process design, creative solutions development.

- Computer experience with Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access or similar software.

Abilities:

- analyze data to identify and quantify process issues

- design business processes and solutions to meet customer requirements

- identify customer needs

- communicate solutions to customers

- prepare cost / benefit analyses

- work comfortably as an internal consultant in a business oriented fashion

- develop customer requirements and project scope documents
